Home in Georgia

I'm home in Georgia now. I got back here at about 5:30 Saturady afternoon. However, I was in the airport for a little over 2 hours. They lost my luggage AGAIN! This time no one on the flight got their luggage, so we all had to stand in line to file a claim. I'm doing well, and I get to start work tomorrow. The first day of school is actually Friday, so I have a lot to do before the students get there being that I would have started work last Thursday had I been in Georgia. I miss all the students in the MATSL program, but I know that there must be something else out there for me.

Good luck at work, Shakita. I am thinking of you here in Bennington.

I can't believe you are beginning school this early. Wow! I know in FL they start early too, but I had no idea southern states began school THIS early. Does this mean you're out in early May? I hope so.

Things here are coming crashing to the end. Students are stumbling along under their burdens of a ton of work, and Friday and Saturday, which are the two presentation days, are going to arrive WAY too soon for everyone.

I go off to art "camp" next week, art workshops I take instead of teach, and I can't wait. No computers (well, if you don't count the narrative evals I have to write and submit for MATSL that week).

I've been thinking of you all week and am so impressed with your positive outlook. Good for you :-)
